KRYSTAL LOVAS

President

Krystal Lovas is President of the National University, pre-law chapter, of Phi Alpha Delta. Studying law is her passion in life, and she plans on pursuing a career as a criminal defense lawyer. Ms. Lovas believes that the justice system is lacking in justice, and she intends on being a lawyer that stands up for what is right- even if she goes against the grain.
She is a member of Phi Alpha Delta’s Society of Scholars and the National Honor Society. Krystal graduates in early 2022, and intends on starting law school as soon as possible, as she wishes to get into the courtroom quickly.

 CARRISA BERNAL

Vice-President

Carrisa Bernal is pursuing a Bachelors degree in Pre-Law, and minoring in Political Science. Ms. Bernal is currently Vice-President of Phi Alpha Delta's NU chapter, a member PAD’s Society of Scholars, and an National University Scholar. Carrisa has spent ten years in the medical field, and hopes to focus on that after law school.

SARAH MURRAY

Treasurer

Ms. Murray is a PAD Officer, Director of Media, and a member of the Honors Fellows Program at National University. Sarah is majoring in Pre-Law, and is hoping to attend law school within the next year.
Sarah is passionate about making a dent in social-inequality, and intends on working for a NPO after law school.

CAMERON REGINATO

Secretary

Cameron Reginato auto is a full-time student, and legal secretary in SHasta County, California. Cameron started his educational journey in 2019, when he started attending Shasta College in Redding, CA. In the Fall of 2020, Cameron transferred to National University, where he plans on obtaining his Bachelor’s in Pre-Law. He is a member of the National University chapter of Phi Alpha Delta (P.A.D.) Pre-Law fraternity and is the Secretary of that chapter. In addition, he recently was accepted to the P.A.D. Scholar’s Society. Cameron enjoys being an advocate foster care youths. For the last three years, he has been a foster parent and has helped numerous children reunite with their families. When he is not spending time with his wife and foster daughter, Cameron enjoys being outside hunting, fishing, and watching sports.

BRYAN HANCE

Faculty Advisor

Bryan Hance is a licensed California attorney, Professor, and Academic Program Director of the Pre-Law and Paralegal Studies programs at National University. Previously, he was an Assistant Professor of Law at Glendale University College of Law, a partner in the law firm of Lewis Brisbois Bisgaard & Smith where he handled both litigation and transactional matters, Associate

General Counsel at Pepperdine University, and the Executive Director of the Center for Conflict Resolution where he oversaw arbitrations and mediations for over 3,000 clients annually.


Mr. Hance received his Bachelor of Arts from UCLA, his Juris Doctor from Pepperdine University School of Law, his Master of Laws from UCLA School of Law graduating in the top ten percent of his class, and currently is a Doctor of Juridical Science candidate at UCLA School of Law. While in law school, Mr. Hance received distinction as both a published and editorial board member of the Pepperdine Law Review, a student teacher for the Legal Research and Writing program, and a law clerk for Justice Edward Panelli of the California Supreme Court

HUGH D. KELSO III, ESQ

Faculty Advisor

Hugh D. Kelso III, J.D., graduated from the Thomas Jefferson School of Law on December 1991. With over 3 decades of legal and business experience, including corporate governance, securities and transactional law, entity formation and capitalization, Mr. Kelso has provided legal advice to both for profit and non-profit corporations and entities, including formation and governance, as well as providing advice and resources on topics such as governance issues, impact of amendments to the state laws, and other legal issues in respect to compliance with company and board fiduciary duties. Currently, Mr. Kelso serves on various for profit and non-profit boards, and serves as legal counsel for several public and private corporations.  Mr. Kelso currently is core adjunct professor with National University teaching primarily in the College of Professional Studies.
